The number of ethnic nationalists within the independence movement is vanishingly small; you are far more likely to see immigrants in Scotland embrace the saltire in a way that you simply wouldn't see with the St George's cross in England

He'd know that if he truly repented he'd get a free pass through the gates but since he's not sorry about *anything* he's done he's aware enough to realise this is a problem. The more interesting element is what impact it has on his followers, if they thought about it for more than 2 seconds

Yesterday I learnt that kids travel for free on the Glasgow Subway during school holidays and half-term. Nice one, Glasgow. Round and round for nowt on the Clockwork Orange, gorgeous free museums and free rodent fun in Kelvingrove Park.
