Increasingly a man of sorrow over evil within and without. Lord, have mercy on me, a sinner (Luke 18:13). Confident in the sufficiency of Christ, not in myself. Janesville, WI

I deleted my account the day before Vance & Trump berated Zelenskyy. I decided to come back because the betrayal of Trump and his sycophants must be met by fierce opposition from every American.

Wow! Very impressive for them to do all of this in 2020 while Trump was president and they weren't in the government! Very normal post from the President of the United States!
Holy moly, Batman! So, the nominee of this @whitehouse-47.bsky.social really, really, really doesn't want to give up the goods on a plan to undo *all* of the 1960s civil rights legislation and progress

Hard core retrenchment after the global 2020 awakening 😢
So you should really watch this. Just 2 minutes. But a window into the truly radical nature of the people Trump is nominating.

When pressed today, the nominee to be Ambassador to South Africa refuses to oppose reinstituting laws to prevent black people from voting in America.
Well, there could be some truth to what Nick says here since SCOTUS has always decided it has the final say on who is and who is not White
Colors are popping in Southern WI

Fun fact: federal officials are only immune from state tort/criminal sanction if their actions are authorized by law! Otherwise they are in loco random thugs
Stephen Miller on Fox threatens to arrest JB Pritzker for "seditious conspiracy" and says, "to all ICE officers: you have federal immunity in the conduct of your duties. And anybody who lays a hand on you or tries to stop or obstruct you is committing a felony."
"Don't protest"

From a govt agent? Really???

Fire this man and then local DAs should charge him in multiple jurisdictions with interfering with the 1st Amendment rights of the people, including using violence when doing so
“The use of force that I’ve seen has been exemplary — the least amount of force necessary to accomplish the mission,” Bovino told @cbsnews.com Friday. “If someone strays into a pepper ball, then that’s on them. Don’t protest and don’t trespass.”
FULL STORY: U.S. District Court Judge Sara Ellis ordered Border Patrol chief Greg Bovino, who has led a series of increasingly aggressive raids across Chicago and the suburbs, to appear in her courtroom in person at 10 a.m. Tuesday. @wttw.bsky.social

Been waiting for this moment with Bovino ...
😢
Listen or read the captions. Lord, have mercy

@whitehouse-47.bsky.social, 🇺🇲 and 🇪🇺 must do more to drive Putin and 🇷🇺 out of 🇺🇦, and then justice must come

Yes, you are correct and action now is important as 2026 is an even bigger election where we would expect more of this govt intimidation ✌🏻

Boat strikes put US service members in legal jeopardy:

"Some junior officers have asked military lawyers, known as judge advocates general or JAGs, for written sign-off before taking part in strikes .... It does not appear that such memos were furnished, said one of the people."
Top Democrats demand details of spy agencies’ role in boat strikes
Democrats are demanding that Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard share intelligence on lethal operations against alleged narcotics traffickers.

"eligible American citizens"

Do not be shocked when you see:

1. Poll workers accosted while trying to do their job

2. Voters impeded in the process of voting

3. Minorities intimidated from turning out

Passaic County, NJ
Fresno, Kern, Los Angeles, Orange & Riverside Counties, CA
Breaking: The Department of Justice announced it will "monitor polling sites in six jurisdictions [in New Jersey and California] ahead of the upcoming November 4, 2025, general election to ensure transparency, ballot security, and compliance with federal law." www.justice.gov/opa/pr/justi...
Notice the counties the Trump DOJ will monitor here

They all have higher percentages of non-US citizens. Feels like intimidation is the goal and US citizens who don't look White will likely suffer harm (e.g., pulled aside and questioned, impeded, or more)

I don't think that is correct question. I expect Bovino did it precisely because he will be questioned because he wants to prove he is more powerful than the judiciary. It will license him and his agents to be even more egregious down the road

Yeah, that caption says "into the crowd." Well, no, unless that agent is literally blind, he is pointing his weapon directly at the man's upper body or head. How that is not a violation of various laws and dept policies, I will never know

It's just two weeks until SCOTUS finally hears the challenges to Trump's tariffs. It's something on which SCOTUS MIGHT rule against Trump.

But it'll be interesting if we get to discussing how Trump unilaterally imposed tariffs bc he saw a TV ad he didn't like.
These are the offending posts, in case you missed it.
Thank you for clarifying. I think this is all over the OT and I would argue we see it in various ways in the NT as well, though not as forcefully since the church isn't a nation writing and carrying out civil law✌🏻
