As a Brown alumnus, I am utterly heartbroken. The Brown campus has always been a place for chasing dreams, not dodging bullets
But it’s just as gutting as Uvalde, Newtown or hundreds of other mass shooting, in a nation where Congress disappeared for 2 months and the president is building a ballroom

Today was the second day of final exams for Brown University students. Instead of finishing the semester strong, thousands were forced to shelter-in-place while an active shooter stormed the campus. Reports say at least two people were killed, and eight others are in critical, but stable, condition.
