with bluesky staff consistently siding with nazis, i'm absolutely going to be deleting my account (when i'll get around to it is the question since i'll have to dig up my password). the reason i came here was because i was told that the staff weren't nazis & stood against them,

A modified version of one of Alex Norris’ “oh no” comics.

Four panels.

Panel 1: a group of people on X tell a smaller group “you are not welcome here”.

Panel 2: the smaller group says “ok we made our own place” labelled Bluesky

Panel 3: the group from X demand to know why the Bluesky group is excluding them. The Bluesky group say “oh no”

Panel 4: the X group are now on Bluesky and saying “you are not welcome here”

ICE traps 2 roofers on top of house during raid—but then 200 protesters came & chased agents away.

Neighbors blocked the ladder leading up to roof—only allowing water up to the men.

After a few hours agents were scared out of neighborhood—driving away on deflated tires.

‼️UPDATE: Fellow trans journalist maia arson crimew (@crimew.gay) has also been banned from Bluesky following a post saying "rest in fucking piss" with an image of the Nathan Grayson tweet at the top of this thread.

maia told me it will try to appeal the unjust ban after a good nights sleep.

petitions are not a silver bullet, but they ARE a powerful point of pressure.

far right, puritanical interests got to where they are due to years, if not decades, of grassroots pressure.
To fight it, we have to be prepared to do the same. Make your fight sustainable to prepare for a long haul.

Even reaching the required number of signatures doesn't guarantee that a law change will take place; in fact, it's highly unlikely. However, it further applies pressure to the payment processors, which continue to make things difficult for consumers.
