Daily DBZ 125-2. Meanwhile, Goku is a doofus and can’t remember any of the instructions. He just terrorizes the instructor the whole time. Goku and Piccolo end up rescuing a bus full of kids so while they don’t earn their licenses, at least they earn the respect of the instructors. Sorry Chi-Chi!

Goku's hovercar flies through the air while the instructor looks frazzled and braces himself. Goku has yanked off the steering wheel and hands it to him.

A little lore for me. Once the original Ocean dub had run its course and there was no indication we'd be getting any more, my brother and I tracked down a bootleg VHS with 2 episodes on it. The first was this episode, which in context is devastating for a 13 year old idiot, but now its a total gem.

Daily DBZ 125. Chi-Chi is tired of the boys punching and kicking around the house while she has to walk to the market on foot. Time for Goku (not her?) to get a drivers license! Piccolo tags along in his human disguise and has a pretty okay time learning to drive a hovercar!

Piccolo barely fits in the hovercar as his instructor smiles and Piccolo drives between some cones.

Daily DBZ 126. The day of the Androids’ appearance arrives. Everyone meets up on a cliff overlooking the island city. Bulma's got a surprise, little baby Trunks! Goku does his best pretending this is new info. Meanwhile Yajirobe shows up with Senzu beans, but on his way out, his car explodes! Uh oh!

Bulma kneels with her new baby, Trunks. Krillin, Gohan, and Goku gather around to admire him. Yamcha sulks behind them. In the sky, fire and smoke gush out of Yajirobe's air car as it crashes while Piccolo and Tien watch.

Daily DBZ 126-2. Everyone was waiting around to sense the Android's ki, but they're mechanical, they got no ki! They spread out in the city trying to find them. Yamcha comes upon a grizzly murder scene... then joins it as one of the Androids grabs him and jabs a hand right through his tummy!

Yamcha is lifted up by the face by one of the androids who jabs a hand right through his chest. The other android stands calmly next to them as they are surrounded by flames and smoke.

Daily DBZ 127. Everyone converges on the Androids who allow Krillin to take Yamcha away to be healed. Its clear they wanna fight, so Goku suggests they do that somewhere with no people around. Taking this very literally, Android 20 starts eye zapping the city until Goku stops him with a solid punch.

On a city street looking over Goku's shoulder as he punches the mustached Android 20 to stop him from shooting his laser eyes. Android 19 ducks under the eye beams as Android 20's hat flies off.

Daily DBZ 128-2. Goku goes nuts on Android 19. Tien is blown away, but Piccolo notices Goku seems weakened and is trying to rush the fight. He lets loose a Kamehameha, but 19 just slurps up the energy with the jewel in his hand. Crud, now he’s juiced back up while Goku looks sick... HIS HEART MEDS!

Goku, high in the air fires a Kamehameha at Android 19, who raises a hand and sucks the energy into his palm.

Daily DBZ 128. Maron of all people shows up at the Kame House looking for Krillin. After turning on the Sailor Moon lamp, she confesses Krillin is the one who got away. Anyway, this is a perfect excuse for Master Roshi to clip show the whole Red Ribbon Army saga to her.

Maron wistfully tips a floor lamp to the side casting a colorfully heart-shaped shadow.

Every single one of these has been redraw and touched up for print resolution. King Kai, the Capsule Ship, and Raditz are brand new drawings as well as Zarbon and Dodoria on the sticker sheet. Gohan peeing is clear-backed so you can put him next to whatever logo you want!

Daily DBZ 129. Goku’s heart disease is tanking his energy. Even a Senzu Bean, capable of fixing a broken neck, does nothing for him. Android 19 gets the upperhand and starts to drain his ki. Luckily, Vegeta chooses this moment to reveal himself with a super kick to 19’s face.

Android 19 sits on Goku who grimaces in pain, 19's hand around his neck, draining his energy. Vegeta flies in sideways, about to kick 19 in the head.

Daily DBZ 130-2. With his hands gone, Android 19 has only moments to scramble away before Vegeta blows him up. Seeing that maybe this isn't going so well, Android 20 scrams and goes to hide in the nearby rocks where without a ki signature, the heroes are gonna have a tough time finding him.

Android 20 flies off into the sky, looking behind him, he sees Android 19's busted head flying into the air.

Daily DBZ 131. While hiding in the rocks, Android 20 does some quick scans and realizes Piccolo is the 2nd biggest threat behind Vegeta. So he sneaks up on him and starts draining him, but Piccolo's special uncle powers call out to Gohan who quickly comes and gives Android 20 a big bonk on the head.

Android 20 Grabs onto Piccolo from behind, wrapping his legs around him and covering his mouth. Gohan flies up from behind about to deliver a big overhand smash.

Daily DBZ 131-2. As he promised, Trunks shows back up prepared to fight the Androids, but he comes across first 19's head then sees Piccolo about to finish off 20. Guys, he's got bad news, these are not the Androids they should be worried about. Also Piccolo totally blows Trunks' cover to Vegeta.

Trunks gestures towards Android 20, whose arm has been ripped off. Vegeta listens with a surprised expression as does Piccolo.

Daily DBZ132. Bulma shows up on the scene in her jet-car with Yajirobe and baby Trunks in order to get a good look at the Androids, but that guy down there looks like Dr. Gero himself! With that distraction, 20 shouts that Androids 17 and 18 will beat them and escapes in a huge blast of energy.

Bulma's mini jet car is rocked by a gigantic blast of energy. Inside Bulma and Yajirobe scream while baby Trunks sleeps peacefully.

Daily DBZ 132-2. Everyone has a talk about what to do now that Android 20... er um Dr. Gero got away, supposedly to go activate Androids 17 and 18. Bulma remembers Gero's lab was supposed to be up north, so Vegeta speeds off and Trunks tags after his dad and Bulma realizes he's her kid all grown up.

Bulma holds up baby Trunks who makes an angry face. Beside him, future Trunks hovers in the air making the same face.

Daily DBZ 135. Vegeta chases the Androids down and challenges them to fight. No. 18 takes him on alone, leading him on a big chase through the countryside and along a highway, causing a huge traffic pile-up and several fatalities. But it doesn’t seem like his attacks are doing much to slow No. 18.

Vegeta, on top of a trailer truck, kicks at Android 18 who blocks backwards falling off the truck heading toward the windshield of a fancy car.
