I'm reading a "pro trans" paper that is written by a cis person. It is so filled with hate, fear and disgust towards trans people, that it's giving me perspective, in a bad way.

1. A landmark study was just published in The Journal of Pediatrics.
It found a 68% reduction in suicidality for trans youth getting HRT.
It also found only 7 of more than 400 stopped taking HRT... and of those that did, 4 still identified as gender-diverse.

The groundbreaking study found that suicidality dropped for transgender youth receiving hormone therapy by nearly 70%, with only 7 patients of 432 discontinuing treatment.

In the past, #TransDayofRemembrance was bitter for me. I was in dangerous situations and had no help. And the same people who were not there for me, mourned those who had died. I got out based on luck, not help. If we mourn, we should also do more for those who're still alive. #abuse #familiy
