Obviously @profspur.bsky.social is better at this numbers stuff, but the reason our defense has looked better in the second half is because we’ve had more of the ball, taking pressure off of the backline.

I’ll turn it over to the Prof to explain in numbers.

Years ago, my colleagues at Business Insider and I tracked YouTuber “cancellation” arcs. What we found is that for many entertainers, “cancellation” actually sets the stage for a redemption arc, one that can raise their profile higher than ever. It wasn’t career-ending. It was fuel.

I'm having a fantasy about Frank getting sacked on the spot right now, then a cloaked figure emerges from the shadows, casts off his hood and bellows

”I TOLD THEM AND THEY LAUGHED. I TOLD THEM AND THEY DIDN’T BELIEVE. AND HERE WE ARE.”

Then the crowd ROARS.

Then we smash in five.

I really think you have to 86: Paratici and Lange as well.

Anyone that was involved in this hiring “process” is suspect now.

Lange and Paratici have a bad track record though.

Worse.

The squad that Frank can put out now is better than the one we could put out in Jan/Feb.

#COYS
I fear that Tottenham are basically as bad right now as they were in January/February, but with less mitigation, less credit in the bank for the manager, and without the sense of shared purpose provided by the Europa League campaign.

I’m glad all those folks that were Ange out because he couldn’t coach have been proven so right by all of this great coaching from Thomas Frank.

A real coach now.

Creating a military conflict with Venezuela gives this administration a legal "hook" to invoke the Alien Enemies Act. In other words, the foreign war is being manufactured in order to facilitate court deference for its domestic mass deportation policy. It's a Stephen Miller Special.

I enjoy BlueSky more because I actually engage with folks, get together with folks, and don’t feel like it’s a site driven by clicks and hate.
Read an article stating that Bluesky will never have the amount of users that the other place does. As if that’s a bad thing? There’s something to be said about quality over quantity.

They can have their bot-infested dystopia over there, whilst we have tea and scones in front of the fire over here.

I've been paying attention to this because my son is a sophomore in HS.

At Alabama, recruiting from "up north" has been a thing since the 1920s.

Bear Bryant and Mel Allen were classmates.

I was part of a huge group of students from South Florida that went to UA
