Semenyo would cost a lot , and Spurs have to prioritise a ball playing midfielder. If they went for a winger first I would be suspicious that Frank is happy to play with a stodgy midfield

The wide forwards can come inside on their natural foot and get closer to the striker too or alternatively our full backs are pretty good at underlapping.

Trying to problem solve the position Spurs are in , and I hope TF is doing the same! Anyway would a back 5 be more effective? It allows the full backs to go higher and stretch the game and gives an easier transition to a 3-2-5 in possession. The 2 should definitely not be Bentacur and Paulinha

Big difference was Nuno was an appointment that was never meant to happen , Spurs actively set their stall out for Frank and I think they have backed him, The coaching and analytics setup, players I believe he wanted and signed off on including Paulinha.
