- - - getting characters relationships/how much they know each other up. Single player story takes maybe 20 hours or so (so it's respectful of time commitment). It was my hidden 💎 of the year. Really didn't realize I would like it this much. 😊

It's a turn based RPG with slight branching paths (you can choose a hard fight for more rewards or the easy path that has more healing items etc).

It's got cute characters, an interesting battle system, base upgrading, a true ending which is based in part on not loosing a character and by - - -

Many old jrpgs had the usual tropes: a comic relief character, a greedy person in power, an edgy but cool loner, etc. and so on...

...and then there is FFVI that also has a very very pissed off yeti. Like just pure anger that is ready to take it out on God. 😂

Actually, Zell is symbolic of a lot of things (and many of them are not good 😂). He is an absolute blockhead , buuuut, he's also got athleticism in spades - so let's go with that. 👍
