We must keep calling out those that cave to the Trump Admin, and the latest is Northwestern.

As part of their "deal," NU will pay $75 million, stop vital research, renege on agreements with its students over the war in Gaza, and more.

Throwing your students under the bus to please Trump. Shameful.

They’re simultaneously arguing that soldiers have to follow all orders from the president, legal or not, but they get to ignore orders from a federal judge if they feel they’re not legal.
KARL: Did you know about the judge's order when you issued your order for the planes to continue?

KRISTI NOEM: This is an activist judge. We comply with all federal orders that are lawful and binding.

The key word is "dictate." As 186 University of California law faculty wrote at the end of our own letter begging our Regents not to sign an agreement with a similar savings clause, the word "dictate" sets the bar WAY too low.

I travel through Farragut every day on my commute, this is extremely scary and just a horrible situation no matter how you slice it
For folks not familiar with D.C., here’s how close it was. This area is sort of office building central, in an area packed with professionals. It’s also within a block of two separate Metro stops.

If you have professional friends who work in D.C. there’s a chance they work near here.
