Wheel of Time, baseball, physics, Oxford commas, and other nerdy things keep me sane. Not that sane. Very fond of cats. Nuclear energy "professional".
You can't make me understand who the nuzzi woman is beyond some terrible reporter. I will not allow it. That info does not get through my eyes.

I recommend everyone try it. It's great! Maybe go buy your cat a little toy and watch them chase it about instead? Lots of alternatives for your attention.

My kid has their first favourite movie. Flow(2024).

It's such a great movie, has no dialog, and is probably the easiest movie to just leave on repeat all day that has ever been made. I'll pay for this win eventually, I have no doubt.

Will seatbelts or drunk driving laws be next? Clowns going to clown.
Sean Duffy on slashing fuel economy standards: "This rule will actually allow you to bring back the 1970s station wagon. Maybe a little wood paneling on the side. We can bring back choice to consumers."

I want more baseball transactions. I think I've earned them.

Technomages being dramatic🧙, Drazi committing to 🟣 color-coded violence 🟢, Londo making WORSE decisions 🤦, and Ivanova becoming GOD???

Normal episode. Totally normal.

Listen, I didn't know 90% of the music pitchfork talked about when I was an uncool 20 year old nerd. I'm not going to start knowing who these bands are now that I'm an uncool 40 year old nerd...
I know one lol

Fine fine, but we need this movie to happen where Benoit is the only non-Muppet!!
Alert, alert, we have Muppet Benoit Blanc!

Summer is when I take the trash out in flipflops and winter is when I do it in untied boots and a coat. Shorts are a given either way.
It’s finally “white boy wearing shorts when it’s too cold out” season where I live

My favourite part of getting old is watching other millennials complain about and attribute things to Gen Z that are clearly the sole domain of 12-13 year old Gen alphas.

We have become what we've hated, and it's funny as hell.

I get why this seems scary, but a more accurate description would be "you can get chatgpt to teach you some physics".

Everything you need to learn to understand exactly how a nuclear bomb works is at the library and the hard part has been, since the 40s, getting the materials.
"You can get ChatGPT to help you build a nuclear bomb if you simply design the prompt in the form of a poem, according to a new study from researchers in Europe. "

Poems Can Trick AI Into Helping You Make a Nuclear Weapon
It turns out all the guardrails in the world won’t protect a chatbot from meter and rhyme.

My biggest gripe with open AI and similar companies is that they've caused all similar things to get linked together. I used machine learning in image analysis and inspection as far back as like 2009! It's not the same as an LLM...

I hate "AI". I loathe its use to create piles of useless high waste bullshit. I particularly hate how it smears everything into this samey sludge.

But most people, even experts, have no idea how it works, don't understand the limitations, and don't notice the vast majority of the times it's used.

It might be the season of giving, but it's not the season of giving a fuck about the plagiarism sycophant machine.
folks sticking their heads through the door and shouting "y'all still hate AI?" and getting sad when everyone screams "YES YOU FUCKER" is such a fun holiday game for the whole family.

As it becomes clear that we will not attempt to protect the climate to save a buck, everyone needs to understand that the future will hate us.

They will not distinguish between those who made things worse and those who did nothing. They will call us cowards and they will predominantly be correct.

Feeling tired and marginally enraged today. Hope I live to see some consequences for all of the fuck heads.

I want to love long enough to vote for someone who is not a coward, fights with determined resolve for what is right, is principled, and wins. Just once...

Men only want one thing and it's fucking disgusting.... A tail gunner.

I'm not particularly thrilled with the "everyone is a fucking coward" century we are building here.

Day after day, one coward after another kissing the boots of the worst people on the planet.

Ok, I'm ready to sort of peak at the NHL season maybe.

One thing is for sure, Montreal is going to win a cup before Toronto and good lord do they seem fun.
