So fun fact, this thing was tossed around a couple times to different distributors, first Netflix, then Aniventure, who then gave up the American distribution rights that got picked up by Angel, a mormon company that has been picking up the rights to more secular fare so they can make propaganda

So fun fact, this thing was tossed around a couple times to different distributors, first Netflix, then Aniventure, who then gave up the American distribution rights that got picked up by Angel, a mormon company that has been picking up the rights to more secular fare so they can make propaganda

what is extra frustrating about the continued efforts to kill it is that none of them understand this
everyone attacking it is convinced that killing section 230 will allow them to remove some part of the internet that they don't like, be it content moderation or sex predators, but it's much worse

Bluntly, Section 230 is almost literally the law that the entire internet rests upon, it makes it possible for user generated content to exist on the internet, it’s incredibly important, and genuinely we must defend it at all costs. This place literally would not exist without it.

At SNL I worked with artists who made the funniest, stupidest graphics in no time flat. Some of my biggest jokes would have been impossible without these geniuses building an insane image or finding the perfect real-life photo of a politician. Sucks that their work is being pushed aside for slop.

I’m seeing an uptick in assholery from assumably new members of the fandom. If you follow an artist and don’t like what they ship, I have two solutions for you that aren’t announcing to the world you’re a dick: mute the ship tag or unfollow. Blocking and scrolling without comment are great too.
