The two types of museum on any of the Great Lakes:

- Lighthouse Museum (featuring Shipwrecks)

- Shipwreck Museum (featuring Lighthouses)
I mean the Reddit comments were bad enough.
There's a major news story about nazi ideation and praise in a GOP group chat, which I would hope you find repulsive and disqualifying at a bare minimum. Why does this guy get a pass for it? Do you see the hypocrisy? If he gets to the Senate, can we ever again point out nazism in the GOP again?
How many non-nazis get Nazi tattoos? That's an insane level of commitment to an ideology that is radioactive.
Oh man, humans could achieve perfect enlightenment if it wasn't for those pesky humans. Better wish for a system that enforces human rights without human input. Or maybe this is the time communism works, guys! Everyone else who tried before was a credible rube, but this time it'll work for sure!
See, now you have me curious, I'd love to know which kind of government solves the problems you have. I bet the answer is going to be communism, and I'll say "we've already tried that, it sucked shit because humans" and you'll say "but we haven't tried it with only avatars of perfect moral purity"
It's not an idea, it's fact. The system of governance you want does not and cannot exist, it is paradoxical.
Yeah but we remember Fetterman and chose to learn a lesson there.
Look, the tattoo's where I get off as well, but I think there's a certain amount of unwarranted smugness going around. Y'all didn't know he had it either!
"Why won't Jeffries immediately endorse Mamdani? Why does he need to do his own research? Sanders endorsed the Oyster Guy immediately!"

The Oyster Guy:
chat it doesn't look good
Pick something unusual to crash out over, I'm sick of the political takes people usually succumb to.
Yes, rather than let a single soul know I got one, I too would opt for acid.
Ahhh ok, that makes a lot more sense. It's still not excusable, but it's at least way more plausible.
An incredibly small number of places will even GIVE you a Nazi tattoo and they DON'T advertise. You have to know the right people, you don't just stumble in off the street and point to a sonnenrad and wake up the next morning with a hangover and regrets.
This is ultimately the whining of a person who hates politics and doesn't understand their relation to society in the least. This is a child who wants mommy to keep them safe forever, not a person who wants to build, and become part of, a community. They want to fuck off to the basement forever.
The entire premise is built on the (false, wrong) assumption that there is a form of government that is perfectly moral and utterly unchangeable.

If you want unalienable rights, you have to convince everyone they're unalienable. And maintain that conviction, somehow. It cannot simply be declared.
Yeah because they all got beaten by pro-life Republicans.
There is no win condition for democracy. I regret to inform you that you will indeed have to keep voting, forever. There is no form of government that will simultaneously guarantee every right you want, and be utterly unchangeable.
There were plenty of signs about impeachment, trans rights, immigration reform, you name it. The goal was to get people into the streets to express their displeasure. It'll be easier to do it in the future if we can convince people that it's worthwhile. As long as we ignore the wreckers like Talia.
As I see it, the problem isn't necessarily that jobs are being eliminated, it's that there's nothing worthwhile or fulfilling to be done by people with a sudden glut of free time. There has to be something meaningful for people to *do*, it's a huge part of being a happy member of society.
Deeply unserious. 7 million people took to the streets in protest, but I guess it doesn't count unless the government gets overthrown and Online Leftists get personal credit for installing a communist utopia. DO NOT let anyone minimize the work we do to resist this regime. It ALL counts.
sums it up. headlines on crowd sizes and the feeling that maybe something happens (somewhere else) aren’t action, and getting a bunch of people to show up to a party for nothing isn’t organizing.

find your people and build something real.
We had a speaker tell us the exact law that was being applied by sheriff's departments to facilitate cooperation with ICE, he told us which counties had signed on, and urged everyone to contact their county sheriff departments to complain. That was one speaker.
The same people who say we're just cosplaying at protest, will repost pictures of 200k people protesting *the exact same way* in Ljubljana and wonder aloud why we can't do that here. Maddening.
7 million people got outside, made angry signs, shut down traffic in all major and minor metro areas, marched to government buildings, held rallies and had anti-administration speakers, but they had fun so it doesn't count.
There's "disagrees on how to spend tax dollars to benefit the community" and "disagrees on who is human". It's possible to live and thrive in a relationship with the former.
