Welp. Two national guardsmen shot in DC. The worse Trump makes America, the more we're going to see people doing crazy shit like this.

The "think of the children" shite constantly in the news about schools being closed was one of the most egregious lies I've ever seen in politics.

The owning class wanted the peasants back in the mills, so they forced children into unventilated crowded rooms during an airborne pandemic.

Murderers.

I’m sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Safaa. Safaa is only 16 years old and is trying to help her mother Manal who is a widow with 7 children, 3 of whom live with her in a tent. Safaa told me she wishes to go to Europe and work with refugee children when she is older. ❤️

Is it a threat to free speech when the President of the United States threatens to yank the broadcast license of a channel whose reporters are asking him challenging questions?

I ask because I feel like there used to be tons of pundits worried about free speech. Where'd they go?
Trump in response to an Epstein question: "ABC, your company, your crappy company is one of the perpetrators. I think the license should be taken away from ABC because your news is so fake and so wrong. And we have a great commissioner, a chairman, who should take a look at that."

We haven't seen this type of wealth inequality in America since the early 19th century when the Rockefellers, Vanderbilts and Carnegies controlled the United States during the gilded age. I've been a wage slave for tech companies. They use you up and spit you out.

There is nothing biological about a birth certificate.
A birth certificate is a record of an event made by observers. It is not an indication of who anyone is years later.

Like a wedding is an event, not what a marriage is now.

This should alarm everyone.

On Thursday, Florida, by unanimous vote, became the first state in the country to adopt “The Phoenix Declaration: An American Vision for Education.”
It was written by the Heritage Foundation, the same group behind Project 2025.

THIS IS INDOCTRINATION

Can’t imagine why the New York Times would be nostalgic for the Epstein days, I’m sure there’s nothing in the emails that sheds light on this
Seriously, what is wrong with these people?

Houses are traps.

A loan for the down payment. A loan for the remainder. Now 50 year loans that will never be paid off while you’re alive, taxed to death on top of it and then a lifetime of maintenance costs.

All so you can say you own the right to be in a place and lord it over your neighbors.

I have already had several lawyers (former and present) reach out to thank me for my bravery in writing this piece. It's astonishing that stating such an obvious truth (that the judiciary cannot avoid the prejudices of the society it operates within) requires courage at all.
"As someone working in law, it’s heresy to say this, and it might even kill my chances of a career... But as a trans person, and someone fighting for the rights of my community, I refuse to remain silent. To me it just seems obvious: a heavily prejudiced society produces prejudiced institutions."
It’s no surprise that only 31% of trans people trust a legal system built to enforce prejudice, says Jess O’Thomson.
