I love fancy wrapping paper. You have the shine, colors, and patterns that the most talented medieval monk in the land would have slaved over parchment for days to produce, and you're using it as disposable decoration.

i think every day i struggle with an internal cognitive conflict which is that

a) this country chose this, enjoy it
b) the most vulnerable did not in fact choose this, that’s a cruel and venal attitude and that is not who i am nor the man my parents raised

so mostly i’m just mad

v1.111 is live today!

We've upgraded our Age Assurance system to comply with upcoming laws in Australia and other regions, and to restore access to people over 18 in Mississippi.

Plus, we fixed some bugs and laid the groundwork for improved "who to follow" suggestions in the near future.

I'm sure he wants peace in a "stop resisting!" sort of way
Putin has signed a document calling up reservists in Russia for military training next year. But the Americans will still insist that he definitely wants peace.

I don't blame people for not paying attention during the dot-com bubble (it was ridiculous), but one interesting thing that happened was that, even though it was burning a billion/year, amazon-dot-com told you exactly how it was going to steamroll the entire "e-commerce" (online retail) market

This is troubling--not that it's "AI critics" but that it's #TESCREAL cultists paying for coverage of AI at major outlets, e.g., Bloomberg, Time, The Verge, LA Times.
