I think we need to change the way we talk about SAG-AFTRA. Not a dig at Jeff here (I too would like to see a SAG-AFTRA Amazon Agreement,) but we've got to stop referring to SAG-AFTRA as an organization that can just "step in" and do stuff.
I just wanna see SAG-AFTRA step in & establish a dubbing agreement with Amazon much like the Netflix agreement. That would be the best path forward.

Indie animation and game development is here to stay because it MUST be. Otherwise soon enough there won’t exist a sector of the industry willing to tell or support the stories already starting to be snuffed out.

Seeing OTHER anime being AI dubbed, including shows that have already been dubbed proper by other studios no less (No Game No Life and Dororo via Sentai Filmworks) is such a telling sign of how greedy Amazon is being.

I don't know what's worst, the idea of using AI for English dubbing (barf), or how awful the dubbing is.
The only good thing to come out of this is that it gives me a much greater appreciation for some of my favorite English voice actors.
