Also throwing this out into the universe, but bodies should be made of, like, Lego. And I should be able to, for instance, remove my scapula and massage underneath it properly. Just an idea for next time or whatevs. Room for improvement, as it were.

I recently introduced my children to the live version of All I Wanted by Paramore, because Hayley's voice is so goddamn gritty and they need to learn to appreciate the important things early in life. They were suitably impressed mini Paramore stans!!

Doing the Lord's work this holiday season by telling folks at the community pottery studio that it is ENTIRELY too late to be starting Christmas gifts this year IF you plan to deliver them on time! Personally, I'm still making shit, but I operate on a different policy.

Stayed home from pottery tonight because I feel like death warmed over. Enough so that my husband risked life and limb to tell me I look like I feel like shit. And for a chronic illness girlie, it takes a LOT for me to visibly show how bad I'm feeling. Think it's a TV on the couch with my pup night.

I got my sci-fi/fantasy addiction from my daddy, and to this day Dune 1984 is a favorite comfort watch. Not sure what it says about me that I can fall asleep to this one, but it probably explains a lot, actually....
On this day in 1984, #Dune as directed by #DavidLynch premiered in the US. It's one of my favourite films of all time.
