I am neither a T. Swift stan nor a hater, but I gotta say, I am tired of seeing all critique of her work characterized by Swifties as misogyny. Yes, there is sexism in catch-all dismissiveness. But refusing to entertain *any* good-faith criticism of a billionaire artist is the opposite of feminism.

I did not realize until very recently how unusual it is that we have tons and tons of family photos that include my mom. Posed, candids, vacations, holidays, ordinary spring evenings in the backyard. I know what my mother has looked like at every age because my dad documented her.

YES and I think it was @laureneahmed.bsky.social who said no 4yo girl wants to be the dinglehopper while her mother is Ariel 🙄 I think group costumes can be cute but only when it's clear the kids are actually having fun and had some say in it
