the thing has happened again where i see someone brag about how anyone concerned about LLMs in tech is just scared because they're probably a shitty programmer. Go through their search history and they're admitting to avoiding junior hires because they can just use LLMs instead.

There's another dimension to this Rosa Parks story that you may not know. This is where the story most often gets mis-narrated.

The bus driver is often left out as a faceless entity and passive part of the story, but he is important to this story.

UPDATE: I re-requested a bunch of records about the Hays County multi-agency raid, since the only criminal charges were dropped in October.

DPS declined to release more records, citing an ongoing FBI investigation.

To clarify for folks like me with multiple accounts in their app: Settings > [email address] > General > Smart Features.

The General option under Settings won't show this setting, you need to select the email account from that screen then scroll down to General from there.

If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."

There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.
