If the wider public was more tuned in to the overwhelming influence of Miller in the administration, I think it would be easier to accept the administration as fascist. Somehow Trump with his charismatic buffoonery works as distraction for many.

i think one thing that drives me mad about discourse on mental illness (along with other things) is that people undercount mental experience as being something real because for a lot of people with a crude sense of science, there's an undervaluation of mental experience as a source of insight
