Apparently the 7 am flight is so full they have made multiple calls to have carry on baggage put into checked luggage.
Well, I have a laptop, tablet and battery pack, so they can't go in checked anyway.

Also, after spending three days in a modernized "railway hotel" from almost 100 years ago (1930, iirc), it's got me thinking about how elegant and fancy it would have been to be wealthy enough to just have your permanent suite in a hotel like this.
