Just finished Metroid Prime 4 and I have REALLY mixed feelings about it. Moment to moment I had a great time with it but structurally it leans into what I liked least about 3 and it super wants you to be invested in this cast that I didn't want there in the first place

what this really describes is that the floor for scrambled eggs is really low. imo the roof isn't that high either, but once you have ok ones it becomes clear how bad scrambled can be. eggs can be so much better!!!! do other stuff with em!!!
once you're burdened with the knowledge of making perfect scrambled eggs you can never go back to eating crummy scrambled eggs

I have, at this point, played a lot of solo Arc Raiders and the sum total of my pvp experience is just being shot in the back from afar. I've never been genuinely betrayed by someone pretending to help me, which would be much more interesting
