A really good year for movies. My top 10 list includes artistic architects, grieving sisters, sexy tennis and hundreds of beavers. #FilmSky

100%. Watching The Princess Bride with my kids recently, they immediately cheered because they knew him from Young Sheldon (their minds exploded when I told him he's also Rex in Toy Story).
I hate gay Halloween, what do you mean you're the 6-foot infant that should have existed at the end of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button?

Wait so you can strip someone of their power on account of their association with Jeffrey Epstein? Interesting
I found the Netflix documentary THE PERFECT NEIGHBOR to be gut-wrenching and quietly compelling. And it's a step in the right direction for a streamer that too often goes for the sensational approach with its true crime docs. For Collider.

Netflix's Latest True Crime Documentary Is an Important Step in the Right Direction for the Streamer
The documentary is empathetic instead of sensational, and that makes all the difference.

Exvangelical art remains an intriguing underground movement in American pop culture.
Quietly, 2025 has been a great year for popular Christinanity-tinged art. And I say this as someone who is long past his MXPX and Jars of Clay phase.

The Colors Within anime, expand Carrie and Lowell from Sufjan, And Roger, new Andy Shauf/Foxwarren, and plenty more.
One of 2025's best releases, And Rodger, is a video game about God, love, and loss. It's powerful and moving. Here's my conversation with Yona, the designer behind And Roger, about why he decided to make a video game about making peace with saying goodbye. remapradio.com/articles/one...

This is the funniest thing I've ever seen.
Watched THE MONSTER SQUAD with the kids earlier this Halloween season. And while I know we're all tired of reboots and remakes, this seems to be one that could be improved by a revisit. For Collider. collider.com/the-monster-...
This '80s Classic Horror Comedy Is Long Overdue for a Remake, and Now's the Perfect Time
We're always looking for a good monster mash.

I think this list covered it.
You cannot convince me that Stephen Miller is not a Joker bro. Unfortunately, trying to Google Steve Miller + Joker is complicated.

“Look how hard my team works” no dude you’re just bad at project management.

Nope, earlier versions (pre-1998) definitely had it; I read it in high school as well. Anything printed after 1998 has it omitted.
We just had THE LONG WALK and I'm eager to see what Edgar Wright does with THE RUNNING MAN. But there's one of King's Richard Bachman films that will never see the inside of a movie theater, and with good reason.

"Oxford commas are a sign you write with ai" I will find such a unique way to rip out your spine that they'll make a movie about it
MILLIONS was in consideration, and if I'd watched it again recently (it's been over a decade for me on that one), maybe it would have crept up. Probably overdue for a rewatch.
I considered ENCHANTED, but it felt too similar to ELF...and while both films have third act problems, I think ELF's highs are just a bit higher (I might not feel that way hand the ENCHANTED sequel also not poisoned the well for me on that series).

yikes, unfollowing now. huge fan of his pathological hunger for lasagna; didn’t realize he’d kicked odie off the end of the table
I also considered WICKED over GREATEST SHOWMAN, but I really feel like we need to see how WICKED: FOR GOOD shapes up before I can call the adaptation a success.
I ... totally forgot about THE KID WHO WOULD BE KING. I don't know that it would make my top 10 but, if not, it would just miss it. I think MUPPETS MOST WANTED is funny, but THE MUPPETS hits the heart of what Henson did at his best. I also really wanted to include SKETCH, but it's just too new.
