She and her husband voted trump in '16. A year later they were saying how embarrassing he was and not at all what they expected. They voted Biden in '20, so finding out they went back to trump was a shock.

For me it's not political. It's about human rights. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I just ended a 20 year friendship with my best friend because I found out she voted for trump and is posting mint tea crap honoring CK.
I tried talking to her, but she refused saying, "we disagree and that's ok."

"Something like: Hey Sarah, still laughing about [tiny shared moment/reference if you've got one] - good to meet you!" Rich went back and forth with ChatGPT until he felt they'd hit upon exactly the right message ("Hey Sarah, it was lovely to meet you") but sadly she never replied, he says. "It's been two weeks now."
