What's wild about this pic is that while it looks like the galaxy is at an angle, Earth's axial tilt & 23.5° orbit around Sol means that while it looks tilted, it's really *us* that are tilted. (plus, IIRC Sol is not ON the galactic equator itself; it "surfs" up & below it as the eons pass.)
