In 1931 in Kiel, Germany, Rachel Posner, the wife of a rabbi, took this picture.
On the back of the photograph she wrote:
“‘Death to Judah,’ so the flag says.

Steve isn’t here anymore, but he always posted this picture on Hanukkah so I thought we could carry on his tradition and remember him.

There was a real concern about the loss of freedom in society during previous Republican administrations, including in my lifetime, Nixon, Reagan, Bush 1, Bush 2. Although there was a progression of loss that brought us here, boy do they seem trivial now.

The pressure just needs to not be let up.
It has months, maybe weeks, to end this war & avoid complete economic collapse. Its banking system is teetering on the brink.
