Exactly. This is the problem with running completely unvetted people without a critical eye. The GOP WILL dig up dirt on him. We could lose because people can't just reserve their support until they know more about him. He's not even the only person running besides Mills.

I would like to maintain or protect my bodily autonomy going into 2026. The leaning of the state house is in the balance as well. The GOP gov candidate believes that abortions should be a capital crime. It's so much more consequential than NYC mayor, sorry to NYC.

So the identified young Republicans in that Politico article, we can hunt down their jobs and school enrollments and get them kicked out/fired right? Conservatives will even help us because this is a subject that they desperately care about?

Young people don't vote for Democrats because they don't vote period. The actual real numbers show that they provided the least amount of votes of the different generations. Older voters delivered more votes for Harris than young voters. Until young voters show tf up, spare me the age whining.

They haven't even taken responsibility for Tulsi or Fetterman or Sinema or even RFK jr to some extent. They haven't come out to say "we fucked up" but they want to bitch and moan that actual Democrats have learned not to trust them?

However bad you think these text exchanges are, it's worse. This is legitimately good reporting by Politico. There is no distancing Trump or the GOP from these young Republicans. They're losers and they're eating eachother because they don't know who leaked to the press.

The guy is legendary for his oratory skills. He's considered a once in a generation politician because of them. Internet randos thinking they're constructively criticizing his speech is just silly. Like randos criticizing Serena Williams tennis skills.

I cried all over again reading the part in "107 Days" when he stood up at the convention and proudly yelled "that's my dad!" What a beautiful thing to witness, enthusiastic and unrestrained pure love. What a lovely family. True sign of great parenting to raise a kid that loves proudly.

I need these big accounts to push volunteering instead of just protests. I'm worried that the Dem Dooming has hurt volunteer sign-ups and the best chances that we have of staving off full, no turning back, dictatorship is slipping away. Virginians will lose their rights and their lives if Dems lose.

If you're in a state with an upcoming election like Virginia it's MORE important that you sign up to volunteer, especially on election day. Volunteer sign-ups are abysmal right now. Do both if you wanna, but if you have to choose, choose volunteering. It's less sexy, but more important.

Do the boring work, it's the most important work. Tv and movies have people convinced that resistance, fighting back, progress is loud and attention grabbing. The truth is that 90% of the work is slow, tedious, and behind the scenes. If everyone only does the loud 10%, we're doomed.

The No Kings protests aren't as important as showing up for your local elections. Volunteer sign-ups are down for Dems for election day in Virginia. If all of the people who show up for the No Kings protests show up for just a few hours on election day, we'd be golden.
