I notice you never hear someone shooting a cop as, "Some say that the suspect's response to threatened arrest might have been heavy-handed."
"We are completely in favor of measures to end racism so long as they are time limited and [checks watch] that time ended about 15 minutes ago. What are the odds?" -- Five Supreme Court justices.

Oops, sorry! Palomacy might still be able to answer questions, if you are still taking care of the pij.
I mean, I'm not a Christian, but the one thing I know about Jesus is his consistent policy of, "Fuck the poor, they're getting what's coming to them."

Kindness is the highest human behavior, cruelty the lowest. Thank you for caring about the pij.

As gently as I can say this, “the kind of people who go to No Kings are not the kind of people who would ever do anything real like direct action in an ICE raid” is not a sentiment with its finger on the pulse of the American pissed-off normie
"Look, Ms Pirro, if you have some guilty-looking ham sandwiches you'd like to indict, we're down for that, but stop bringing us this nonsense."

If I had explain American history in one sentence, I could do worse than "John Brown was hung for treason, but Robert E. Lee was not."
John Brown’s raid on Harpers Ferry began on this day in 1859.

roberts’s constitution allows for racial discrimination as long as you don’t say you’re racially discriminating, because in a classic bit of racecraft, roberts’s constitution forbids acknowledging race but has no particular issue with racism.
That is a swan thinking, “And I’d do it again.”

I saw a post that claimed they saw a post, but I couldn't find a citation. The post was:

Every programming language has one of two flaws:

* it has macros
* it doesn't have macros
That is exactly correct. If Nvidia announced that their next generation of processor consumed half as much power as the current one, by this metric it would be a failure.
If you want an idea of how dumb quoting GPU capacity in "gigawatts" is, imagine:

* "In August 2025, Ford Motor Company shipped 7600 gallons per mile of gasoline-powered vehicles."
* "British Airways announced adding an addition 230,000 liters of aviation fuel per month of new routes in July."
OK, there are so many things bad about the AI business model that this one is pretty petty, but: I hate that GPU capacity is now measured in "gigawatts."It feels like they are finally making it clear that the only purpose of the technology is to consume electricity.
It's amazing how many decisions like this are just petty inter-departmental politics, with the Teams and OneDrive product managers trying to juice their "SKUs shipped" numbers.
LMAOOO WHAT DO YOU MEAN THE NEW XBOX HANDHELD COMES WITH MICROSOFT TEAMS AND ONEDRIVE INSTALLED??? this is the fucking goofiest company in games
Even as a young nerd, I was seriously bugged by Tron. I mean:

The Great Programmer, The Hero: Writes some video games.

The Bad Programmer, The Villain: Writes an operating system that becomes sentient.

Wait, what?
Pretty confused by how TRON became a big-budget movie franchise. Was it a bit hit when it came out? No. Did it become a big hit on video/TV? Also no. Do people have fond nostalgic memories of it? Eh kinda but not really. Was it secretly great and critically acclaimed? No again
Hi, @bitsight.bsky.social. I was very surprised that you have adopted a marketing tactic of just creating accounts on your service for people and sending them welcome messages.

Of course, I would never do business with a company that shady, but you do you.

"Disingenuous, squalid, and dishonorable" is pretty spot-on as a description of this administration.
I don't have good adjectives to describe how pathetic this is. This is designing a military for photo ops rather than winning conflicts. This is a racist, sexist masturbation fantasy.

The United States has become an embarrassment.

A question for #lawsky… who holds the copyright on a court filing (on the US)? The client? The law firm? Public domain?
