My wife and I are re-establishing a fondly remembered herb garden at our home in Cumbria. These old buildings - traditional long narrow cottage and barn - have been here several centuries, but our connection to the place goes back to Rachel's grandparents who founded The Herb Farm in the late 1940s.

Tonight (Wednesday November 26) at 7pm, BBC4 are re-showing poet Lemn Sissay walking the postman's path at Dentdale, Cumbria. It's a lovely programme although sadly he doesn't mention the history of the path(!). It's also a lovely walk. sites.google.com/view/postal-...

Beth Rigby saying Kemi Badenoch was ‘on fire’ is like saying a school bully is ‘on fire’ when they are mimicking someone and stamping on their head. I have no idea what speech she was watching. Kemi was a disgrace today, it was genuinely difficult to watch. I felt embarrassed watching it,
