Cumbria Wildlife Trust's reserve at Eycott Hill, near Berrier, shaped by volcanic activity 460 million years ago. You can still see the lava flows across the site. Well worth a visit. #cumbria #lakedistrict

A fenced off mine shaft at Driggith mines on High Pike, Caldbeck. Largely mined in the 18th and 19th centuries, the mine produced lead, copper and silver. #cumbria #lakedistrict
