Not in my case; one year I did 39 meetings over three days, and managed to actually get a couple PMs to put money against things my guys needed. Sometimes the ability to say “I just talked to the guy, let’s walk over” pays dividends. But GOs don’t generally do that; and neither did most of my peers.
