The China court case has made a lot of attention, but it seems to largely just be used as an opportunity to criticise the current government rather than actually looking at the case itself. We seem to get a lot of Schleswig Holstein Question-esque stuff going on in politics nowadays.

Yeh, these stories from right-wing media outlets about rich people moaning how hard it is being taxed slightly more are kind of eye-rolling. These people really are Smaugs! I suppose that next the Telegraph has stories from billionaires saying how benefit cuts are needed.

Oregon conservatives promoted this event for weeks. They organized a caravan from locations across the state for it. The pictured Christian Nationalist preacher promoted it in his Salem church. According to other news outlets and my own observations, about 50 people showed up. Sad.

I kind of want to think this about the BBC. It produces some really good content, plenty of great drama. But it's news is really failing. It's constantly scaremongering against the left and promoting the far-right under the pretext of balance. And now I see more how pro-establishment it is.

if you're going to a protest today I wish you luck. The only specific thing I will beg of you is this: don't use milk to wash out tear gas or mace. if you see a street medic with milk, yell at them until they throw it out. do not continue to spread lies about emergency medicine.
