The trailblazing transgender rights activist Miss Major has passed away at the age of 78.

Miss Major was a lifelong organizer and participant in the ballroom scene. She took part in the 1969 Stonewall Riots and was injured by the police — but she kept fighting.

This is less about cutting flashy things like moonwalks and more about keeping communities in the dark on climate, weather, agriculture, pollution, natural hazards, and more.

Vallvidrera, near Barcelona, has a curling club. Each season, the members of the club go to the local reservoir and toss a stone in to see if the ice is strong enough to play. Since the water never freezes, they go for brunch instead and raise the toast, ‘We shall play one day’.

Ein gemeinsamer Binnenmarkt für Energie hingegen, abgestimmte Ausbauziele und eine gezielte Industrie- und Investitionspolitik, angetrieben von der lange anvisierten Kapitalmarktunion, könnten Europa wieder zu einem Standort machen, der nicht nur importiert, sondern auch produziert.

Am Ende entscheidet Energiepolitik über mehr als nur über die Strompreise. Sie ist Industrie-, Sicherheits- und Standortpolitik zugleich und damit der Schlüssel dafür, ob Europa seine Zukunft selbst gestaltet – oder sie von anderen geliefert bekommt.

My hot take is that none of these are structure. These are all recipes that describe structure.

Structure is the Salt, Fat, Acid Heat of writing.

3-Act/Hero's Journey etc are recipes.

You can make great meals without using a recipe if you understand the principles of structure.

NEW: There’s a disaster unfolding in Alaska right now. And no major network is covering it.

The remnants of Typhoon Halong battered western Alaska overnight. Homes, with people in them, have literally been swept into the Bering Strait.

At least 20 are missing. No comment from any federal agency.

Ich muss sagen, dass ich "Wehrdienst / Ersatzdienst auslosen" gar nicht so uninteressant finde, denn damit hast du auch die drin, die sich normalerweise für nicht zuständig erklären.
