Indiana’s Senate has voted AGAINST the GOP gerrymander that’d have locked in a 9-0 map.
This keeps the 7-2 map in place, saving two Democratic seats heading into 2026.
The vote failed big, 19/31.
The MAJORITY of the GOP senators opposed it!

Indiana’s Senate has voted AGAINST the GOP gerrymander that’d have locked in a 9-0 map.
This keeps the 7-2 map in place, saving two Democratic seats heading into 2026.
The vote failed big, 19/31.

Interesting but tragic story of a scientist who became incredibly lucky early in his career and struggled to reinvent himself repeatedly afterward. He succeeded once (as an administrator bringing biology into the molecular age), but failed the second time (becoming a race and gender science crank).

Today I spoke with a neighbor (a reliable Democratic voter) about Prop 50.
She was dead set against it, but I was able to change her mind.
She didn't understand that Republicans are stealing Democratic Congressional seats across the country.
