Ugh, okay. So. Logged into my work computer this morning - as one does - and Microsoft decided to turn on a helpful* web search box *on the desktop*, a really random place for one.

You can turn it off easily, but I really can’t stand what Windows has become.

The one extension I recommend to every new user (and I cannot believe isn't default behavior or something that can be set in options) is Gizmodal Ops. Simply: if you press G, the move gizmo appears. R? Rotate gizmo. So on. That's it.

Today I’m at bungulosangeles.com and the line to get in (even for pre-sale ticketholders!) wraps around 3 sides of Union Station.

Hosting a major stationary event in LA at The Train Station was a cute idea, but maybe they should have sprung for one of the convention centers 🤷

One of the more incredible stories out of LA this year has been how a taco review blog became the best on-the-ground coverage of ICE raids in the city.

They do a dispatch every day, follow-up on the kidnapped people (which almost no media outlet has done), and fact-check government claims.
