Don't cut people's health care just to pay for a billionaire tax cut.

I, along with hopefully every journalist my age, was taught not to have too many "official talking heads / quotes," not to elimate them entirely. It should be a basis of comparison for what non-officals also say, on the record.

Unfortunately the reality is, having a named source is preferable to most readers, and constantly having to cite anonymous pentagon sources is going to go badly in the long run

The solution is to not have a "long run" of this nonsense. We need to force resignations to happen.

Pew research poll from 2020 that shows 67% of readers understand that anonymous sources are important, but should not be your primary source

Nearly 20% of readers will not find an unnamed source credible
