Look it might not be better for the productivity numbers but going from Paris cafes being open until 2am as standard back to pubs which close at 11 or 12 was a major downgrade so I'm all for it

I'm getting really really fed up at constant reassertion that welfare spending is "out of control" when it is the same as the average for the past few decades.

One reason disability benefit costs have risen is because core support has fallen.

The idea that being a refugee is somehow a “golden ticket” is genuinely awful. These are people who the government have recognised are in need of protection. Do they think people chose that? That that’s what people wanted?
