Montreal ... final play field goal. Saskatchewan ... last minute touchdown.
#SSK and #MTL met twice before in #GreyCup ... Montreal won both ... 97th cup 28-27; 98th cup 21-18.
Next weekend's 112th Grey Cup should be GREAT!

I hope @lukaszukab.bsky.social might want to create a party to carry the progessive conservative banner in AB.
It's been gone for a dozen years.
Some stayed with the stench of the UCP ... some leaned orange ... but if such a group arose, you'd be surprised at just how many want to come home.

Well for me ... curtailing debate of the ELECTED representatives and BLOCKING any subsequent legal recourse with the NWC is a much greater travesty than considering a PAUSE allowing all sides to reconsider such a HEAVY HANDED approach to problem solving.
I’d really love it if folks would think through what this suggestion would mean:
You’re asking the APPOINTED representative of a HEREDITARY monarch to intervene directly to overturn the will of the ELECTED legislature.
Few things are worse than the UCP invoking the NWC. This is one of them.

It will be interesting to see how overriding charter rights, forcing a rejected labour deal on workers, and threatening substantial fines will impact Alberta's plan to add and recruit 3,000 new teachers over the next 3 years.

An official intervention would seem warranted for him.
Police in Airdrie, Alberta (just north of Calgary) say this driver hit a 17-year-old girl in a marked crosswalk, got out of the vehicle, and appeared to get upset at the teenager before driving away.
They released this video and are now trying to identify the driver.

NO money to care for our sick or chronically ill
NO money to care for the elderly
NO money to make sure our kids get an education
But LOTS of money to build a pipeline for mega-billionaire companies that are laying off our people anyway.
