not to mention the completely arbitrary "requirements" to run windows 11 on modern hardware. microsoft is creating so much e-waste because of this. this is the first time windows has ever "required" specific hardware. windows has always been backwards compatible until now. and for what? greed.

most of my childhood was spent in the XP era and i only remember that and 7 as pretty solid operating systems. microsoft could so, so easily make windows not shit. they could bring back windows the way it used to be, for users first and foremost
