Good News was simply brilliant. The cinematography is really interesting, and I had a blast with stuff like sound design and editing. (So viddable!!) It's the perfect dark comedy, especially with a little bit of cultural context. Super impressed by Hong Kyung acting fantastically in 3 languages!

My contribution to the timeline: cat sisters cuddled up in the bed we foolishly vacated to go to our silly human "jobs". Cats know better than to leave such a comfortable spot on a rainy October day.

It's an entirely different experience of gaming than playing the modern ones, where tooltips and quest tracking and a compass/mini-map even in local areas is pretty much a given. I'm glad you're enjoying the experience.

Buying walkthroughs before the internet days used to cost money, and the work around was asking your friends at school who'd played the game what to do next. I'm glad you have the tools to make the game fun, we didn't always have them back in the day!

The old school games were a lot less "lead you around by the nose". They also didn't do things like track your side quests, or even the main quest (you had to PAY ATTENTION) to figure out where to go next) and it was common that you'd end up lost forna few hours until you stumbled on the next step

I love that I recognize that as a Hankyū line train to Umeda station in Osaka. I used to ride it every single week during the two summers I lived in Japan. I miss Osaka. And I miss Bowie.
