Last week our Korean Society prof invited recs for Kmedia. I decided to do a horror themed rec and wrote 450 words about The Guest, Revenant and Exhuma (relevant to our readings!). There are 47 students and only 1 other has done any recs -basically two IMBD links. So I am now That Weirdo I guess? 😅

...you are right and you should say it! I get caught up in being A Patient, and not a person (and also wanting to be a GOOD patient), so sometimes I really do try to just squish my feelings up and logic them away. Gonna take this as permission to feel some feelings, even if they're heavy.

Okay, today's health saga news make me feel very VERY "this sucks and I am so tired" and I'm almost at the point where I'm just... ready to be sad and scared all the time. OTOH, if I CAN make myself less miserable...? Maybe it's worth trying to scrape together some bedraggled positivity...

This is huge news!
UBC has developed an enzyme that can convert donor organs to type O, making them universal.
Normally a using organs of the wrong blood type causes the recipient's immune system to attack the organ, leading to failure.
