Unexpected moment of joy: Finding out that Peter Wingfield, who played Methos on Highlander and was beloved of many people I know (I also enjoyed his episodes as Tanith on SG-1), is an anesthesiologist now. He went back to medical school in 2013. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_W...

Unfortunately the Peace rose bud won't bloom in time for my birthday tomorrow. Very disappointed 😁 my childhood memory is that I always got a cut Peace rose from the gardenfor my birthday. The timing is off with this new bush. Oh well. At least the Be My Sunshine rose is still blooming
