Listen to Rep. Lee. Leadership is long overdue to look different.
Leadership has to look different than it ever has before.
If we want leadership that meets this moment, we need leaders that are responsive to the people and will fight for them.

Federal agents forbidding faith leaders from praying sounds like a violation of religious freedom.
But then I remember that “religious” means “white Christian identity politics,” and “freedom” means “Christian nationalists’ unrestricted ability to impose their beliefs on others.”

Donald Trump's administration is banning prayer outside a public building in the Chicago suburbs. Super curious how the right wing - including SCOTUS- squares this with their claims that religious expression is under attack from the left...

It was a farce to prosecute this guy. Besides, the Trump admin has already proven that it’s ok to attack and do bodily harm to officers with whom you disagree. In fact, it’s pardonable. We gotta stop this BS (both sidesism). This was nothing but malicious authoritarianism.

Just going to be an incredible decision if SCOTUS says they needed to make an emergency intervention because of the risk that poor people might get food they are legally entitled to

Funny cartoon. But this is precisely what the United States Supreme Court has presently decided is sufficient reasonable suspicion to legally stop and detain human beings.
That court is now fetid trash. So is our republic as a result.
