Really want to encourage libraries - especially school libraries - to put no-AI content into your collection development policy. At the very least, if you have a clause in there about requiring accurate information, you can use that to weed out or prevent genAI purchases.

yeah, i think a commitment to public health obligates you to get vaccinated and, when you are sick, do what you can to avoid spreading that to other people. the demand that one mask at all times in public spaces is, i think, unreasonable.

"Oh just wear a mask when you're sick" is always such a frustrating thing to hear when people are at their most infectious ~24-48 hours BEFORE the onset of symptoms! This is one factor why masking in public spaces is so important - you are sick and spreading it before you know you are! 😭
