People lives are being improved. 30 hrs free childcare is a real boost, increase in minimum wage is much needed. Free breakfast clubs, more free school meals, freezing rail fares. Plus workers rights bill and renters bill. All these are improving lives.

Hi Angus my favouite book The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists was wrote well over a hundred years ago it centered around a group of exploited builders & the views you have just described were articulated by some of the workers in the book. I work in building & those exact views are still expressed.

Yep, I'm afraid you're right. Although, having thought about this quite a lot, I struggle to believe that so many people are that thick. I think it's laziness and indifference. The facts are out there, they're not difficult to find. Lots of people would rather just get angry instead.
