one thing about being Animal In Public i had to get over was the fear of "fuck i look like a lot right now" but you have to realize y'all're stacked as fuck and 'r doing the most on the train

I know there's at least one person here who follows me for updates on the #DNS setting. Well, good news, I have a story planned to release before the end of the year that covers a lot of the lore and general background of the setting as well as the fallout of current political year on the characters

This is only going to keep on happening, too. If Washington State is serious about keeping easy visitation going with BC, we need to strengthen our control over our own border to prevent Federal overreach from making crossing between BC & Washington a hazardous task.

Hey do any of my furry friends know of someone who would be really good at drawing a deerfox / Christmas version of me? If so, please let me know!

Been doing the free weekend for #CitiesSkylines2 and it's actually really neat AND runs on my old computer! I'm not a hardcore city gamer, but what I like about it is that a lot of stuff that previously required mods and advanced knowhow is just; right there.

Also I completely buy into the Meyers and Kurt had a relationship thing sorry not sorry.
My "actually Cyberpunk can be a pretty great series" turn around continues. Edgerunners is fantastic, a really good Studio Trigger production, love the bit at the start with "you must reup your washing machine sub". Setting is at its best when it explores desperation, loss, & POC experiences

Back from a lovely vacation to Japan with @binaryvixen899.bsky.social! We walked around one volcano and drove around another :)

then we did the most absurd return back to the PNW, Kagoshima to Tokyo via Shinkansen, Tokyo to Hong Kong via air, and then Hong Kong to Vancouver. North/south/north, haha

If you can, travel to another country and go out to lunch at a busy social restaurant. Engage in human connection, it will nourish you.

I often think this about unions (the monetary cost benefit part), when you look at how much money companies that are at their peak spend opposing unions, it is simply absurd and perhaps betrays a deep insecurity.
"'They’re spending more money than I would even tax them,' [Mamdani] said in an interview with MSNBC last week."

This is the message. Make it clear that these billionaires aren't just worried about losing money. They're worried about losing the ability to exchange their money for power.

I stand by my belief that only deeply, deeply out of touch people reinforced by other deeply out of touch believe the idea that the average voter understands and follows the extremely complex conspiracy brained transphobia espoused by online weirdos (IE: "transgenderism = ultimate narcissism" )
It's time to get over the shock and the scapegoating of November 2024. The reality is--as it has always been--that the existence of transgender people is not a drag on the Democratic Party. We have yet more indefatigable proof of this point. Lock in and win.
