Whether or not the gas plant was specifically planned for the data centre, data demand is skyrocketing (thanks in large part to AI) and gas is one is the most environmentally destructive ways to meet that demand.

i avoid taking halifax transit because it’s so unreliable. The best route is #1 But the last two times I’ve taken it, it has made me embarrassingly late for meetings. No wonder people with the means prefer other forms of transportation. #shouldhavebiked
