Days 1, 2 and 3 of riding any bike anywhere every day until something makes me unable to.

I have too many bikes and don’t spend enough time on them.

Day 1: MTB at Woodhill
Day 2: cargo bike to Avondale markets
Day 3: lunch break to the local shops with a scenic stop off.

Re-upping this thread in light of @ben.gracewood.nz uncovering that there is no record of David Seymour ever being told (as he had claimed) that alcohol warning labels hamper craft brewers ... a non-issue that would require us to break from our international agreements to fix ...

anyone good at OIA requests know what the next steps are? I presume because "no information held" that means there was just nothing diarised and no notes.

Well, as expected, Seymour talked to precisely no craft beer business. fyi.org.nz/request/3228...

"Seymour said he visited a craft beer business struggling with the requirement to use red in pregnancy warning labels."

Which craft beer business specifically? David has a long history of bullshitting on "people are saying".

caught my vampire neighbor creeping through my front door. he claims my saying “for sure dude, we should definitely hang out sometime” the other night counts as an invitation, but I disagree. we’re on hold with the etiquette hotline

Make jokes about it.

Embarrass the heck out of Seymour.

In Whanganui, information from the Government’s own Road Cone Tipline had actually led to more cones being put out than taken away. In Wellington, 110 complaints resulted in just two cones being removed.
Just 204 road cones confirmed gone thanks to heralded ‘tipline’

In my heathen westie bogan petrolhead family, St Bathurst’s Day is what passes for a religious holiday. In position on the couch for the next 5 hours!

They've chosen to end bipartisanship on this issue. The next government will have no reason to take a compromise approach again. Make polluters pay, 100%, without delay. And farmers better plan ahead for it, not fritter away any short term profits from Luxon's irresponsibility.

The positive thing is it's not doing all the out of control stuff you see on Air Crash Investigation. Hopefully just an annoying caution light.

As OCR rates have come down, bank net interest margins have gone up - the OCR is at 2.5% and the NIM is at 2.6%. As a point of comparison, in Aussie the NIM is about 1.7%. So - as you say - mortgage rates are about 1% too high, solely due to profiteering

No non-citizens at the big sport thing, eh?

Good thing the US isn't hosting any massive international sporting events in the near future. The sort of events that would draw fans from all over the world.

Beyond the fact that legal immigrants and tourists can attend the Super Bowl, I find it absolutely hilarious that they're gonna have ICE harassing a bunch of rich people. Tickets are almost $10k.

Please own the libs harder.
