What movie do you consider “perfect”?

Witnessing the pendulum swing of Nintendo’s cultural perception in the games sphere is always interesting. And it’s always the same points of argument regurgitated over and over. But with the added annoyances of whatever currently annoys gamers. I feel like its 2015 again in all the worst ways
r/casualnintendo is genuinely one of the worst Nintendo focused subreddits. It’s literally just people complaining about any ounce of criticism towards Nintendo, even if it’s from passionate fans. Like this is genuinely unreal.

Hi. I am the one transgender woman any kids cartoon is allowed to acknowledge. My existence only serves to spark a “special episode” that paints my entire persona around my gender identity. My episode is immediately pulled from syndicate. I am never seen again outside of a random BG sighting
Hi. I am the one black friend in a any given cartoon made by a white showrunner. I’m the safest most toothless Disney Channel depiction of all black ppl ever created. No other black friends exist except as stereotype. I am always a nerd. All asian ppl will know martial arts or be obnoxiously smart.
Hi I'm a conventionally attractive white guy in a movie or on TV. I have exactly one (1) black friend

My dead name didn’t inspire much creativity in options. I originally tried to see if Talia would be a good fit for me. Unfortunately I had a friend in high school named Talia (who I awkwardly confessed my feelings to senior year), so that was a no go. Ramona ended up fitting my vibe better
Trans ppl, where did ur name come from? U don't gotta share ur deadname but mine is a journey that starts there:

Legal Michael, but Miguel sometimes to my latine family

Go to college, theres too many Michaels, i go by Miguel

Sometimes those friends call me Miggs

Bing bang boom: Miggs

ok, cis folks—if you said you'd stand with trans folks, it's time.

S.9 is the senate's sports ban bill—a big step to making trump’s executive order a federal law, which is much harder to undo. it can be stopped *monday.*

short call scripts for dem & GOP senators ⬇️🧵

legiscan.com/US/bill/SB9/...
a cloture vote for the way-harder-to-undo-than-an-executive-order federal anti-trans sports ban is now set for monday. that means there's more time to make calls.

no on cloture means it doesn't get a vote. the GOP needs 7 dems to advance it.

please call. there is *so* much evil downstream of this.

I was in an AP Civics class during late 2016-early 2017 (otherwise known as hell). Half the class was filled with over privileged white republicans. One day for a project one of these idiots tries the whole “you know the republicans were always the true progressive party” and it was so cringeworthy
Republicans are always like "you know back when the Republican party was progressive and the Democrats were conservative, we were on the right side of history" like it's some kind of burn.

I am sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Eslam. Eslam was able to flee Gaza to Egypt before the crossing closed but much of her family was not. Including her 12 year old sister who was in a bombing recently and suffered horrific injuries. She is trying to help them evacuate.
