to add, steam reports all but 4 games in my steam library should work with linux, unhelpfully the linux toggle in my library doesn't show which 4 games those are

I actually don't use a ton of program regularly so I haven't tested all of my windows apps. all the games I'm currently playing appear to work at first blush. I don't play any games that use anti-cheat however, I know that's a difficult part with migrating users

at a surface level, linux mint is surprisingly easy to set up and use. anyone comfortable with windows and has decent google-fu should be fine. of course if your preferred windows software doesn't have an official linux version, there may be more work but almost all of my programs work fine

it's something seeing indie games take off, mainly because blockbuster releases decline both in quantity and quality. the extra job security that comes with working with a larger corp is pretty much worse than the smaller studios, the ubisoft and EAs of the world need to die so fast

if you think someone is being unfair on a candidate, be specific. don't say "why are we subjecting x to a purity test?" rather "why are we being harsh on x because of their stance on middle class tax rates?"
